It has a new heavy duty, machined from solid stock aluminum, Tri-Pod base with a deluxe machined head assembly for better stability, especially for the heavier scopes.
The Zoom Head will mount those scopes that are threaded to accept (1/4" X 20) tripod mounting threads, and work best with scope that have a rotation band on it, that allows the scope eyepiece to be rotated to view down range while shooting from different shooting position. By rotating the eyepiece, the shooter does not have to get as far out of their shooting position to look down range.
