The vane mount assembles in seconds and the precision pivot and lightweight vane extension allows the unit to spin freely in the slightest of breezes. To use the Vane Mount with the 1000, 2000, or 2500NV, you must reverse the wind meter case to sit in the Vane Mount. Then put the lanyard into the case first to fill space under the wind meter. The wind meter should stick up far enough to read the screen. A shim may be placed between the wind meter and the case to secure it.
