Dry-Fire Safety Device for M14/M1A/M1 Rifles

Product Design
  • The device is designed for the M1 design family of firearms, includes the M1, M14, and M1A rifles.  The device fits into the chamber and extends into the boltway.
  • The device holds the bolt in a position which limits the rotation of the hammer after release and recocks the hammer when the charging handle is cycled approximately 1/4".
  • The device permits very limited travel of the hammer and prevents the hammer from impacting the firing pin tail, which prevents all damage normally associated with dry firing.
  • The device is CNC machined from centerless ground Delrin, a self-lubricating polymer.
